Privacy Policy
Melosh Enterprise Limited respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use and protect it, and the rights you have over it. We handle personal information in line with the Data Protection Act No. 3 of 2021 of the Republic of Zambia and other applicable laws.
1. Who We Are

For the purposes of this policy, Melosh Enterprise Limited is the data controller of the personal information described below.
Location: Ndola, Zambia.

2. What Information We Collect
When you contact us or request a consultation, we collect the information you provide, which may include:
- your full name and, where relevant, your company name;
- contact details, including your email address and phone number;
- your preferred contact method (email, phone call or WhatsApp);
- the service you are interested in and a description of your project;
- your estimated project timeline, where provided;
- any other information you include in correspondence with us.
3. How We Collect It
When you submit a consultation request, your details are transmitted through an email delivery service to our business inbox. The submission includes the date and time of your request. Your enquiry is processed by the providers involved in delivering and storing the message. We also receive information when you email, call or message us directly.
Providers that host and deliver this website may process technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and request details, to display pages, maintain availability and protect the service. This information is separate from the details you choose to include in a consultation request.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide to:
- respond to your enquiry or consultation request;
- prepare for and conduct consultations, proposals and quotations;
- deliver and administer services you engage us for;
- maintain business records and correspondence;
- comply with legal, tax and regulatory obligations in Zambia.
We do not use your information for automated decision making, and we do not send marketing communications without your consent.
Depending on the purpose, we process information to take steps at your request before an engagement, perform a contract, meet legal obligations, or pursue legitimate business interests such as responding to enquiries and protecting our services, subject to your rights. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent by contacting us.
5. Cookies
We do not currently use website analytics or advertising trackers, and our website code does not set cookies. Providers supporting website delivery and enquiry submission may process technical information to operate and protect their services. External websites you choose to visit have their own cookie practices. If we introduce analytics or nonessential cookies, we will update this policy and seek consent where required.
6. How We Protect Your Information
Connections to this website are encrypted. Enquiries are received in our business accounts and should be accessed only by people who need them to handle your request or engagement. No online service can guarantee complete security. Please avoid including identity documents, financial account details or other sensitive personal information in the initial consultation form; we can discuss an appropriate way to share any documents needed for your project.
7. How Long We Keep It
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your request and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you return to us. Information connected to an actual engagement is retained for the duration of the engagement and for as long as required by Zambian law for business, tax and audit records. Information that is no longer required is deleted.
8. Sharing With Third Parties
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only:
- with service providers who support our operations (such as email and hosting providers), who process it only to provide those services;
- with professional advisers (such as lawyers, accountants or auditors) where necessary;
- with strategic partners involved in delivering your project, and only with your knowledge;
- where disclosure is required by law, regulation or a court order.
Website and communications providers may process enquiry information and technical data outside Zambia. Any international processing must meet applicable Zambian data protection requirements; a provider's own policy does not replace those obligations. You may contact us for information about the providers and processing locations relevant to your enquiry.
9. Your Rights
Under the Data Protection Act No. 3 of 2021 and applicable law, you have the right to:
- ask what personal information we hold about you and receive a copy;
- ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
- ask us to delete information we no longer need;
- object to or restrict certain processing of your information;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in section 12. We will respond within a reasonable time and in accordance with the law. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner in Zambia.
10. Children's Privacy
This website and our services are directed at businesses and professionals, not at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology or legal requirements. The current version, with its revision date, will always be published on this page.
